Born and raised in Madagascar, Manitra Andriamialisoa, is the founder and CEO and the lead guide of Madagascar Endemics & Resorts.
A natural young leader by being an English-speaking national guide since 2001; a qualified tour leader by prestigious British and North American tour companies since 2012; a former choir leader, a former soccer team captain, former vice-president of the Anglophone Studies Department’s Students’ Union (ADSU), Manitra had been a doctoral student in US Studies under the supervision of 5 US Fulbright professors at the University of Antananarivo where he was lecturing as probably the youngest faculty for 8 years. A former Fulbright Scholar from Madagascar to New York University in 2005, and a member of the United States Graduates Association (USGA), Manitra also got the unique opportunity to attend lectures at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles, in 2003 to proudly represent the whole African continent. He was a visiting scholar to SIT Graduate School, Brattleboro, Vermont, in 2005.
